About Cathris
The Cathris Group (TCG) was started in 2001 by Dr. Martin Schedlbauer after
founding several leading training and consulting firms, including Technology
Resource Group, Inc. (acquired by BEA/Oracle in 1999) and Hands-On Technology
Transfer, Inc. Dr. Schedlbauer is a recognized leader in software development
practices and business systems analysis. He frequently speaks at industry
conferences and facilitates seminars, courses, and workshops on a variety of
software development topics for corporate, academic, and government clients
throughout the world. Dr. Schedlbauer is a dynamic presenter with many years of
industry experience in the construction of large-scale enterprise software. Prior to
founding TCG, he served as CTO for BEA Global Services, Senior Director of
Educational Services at BEA, and CEO/CTO at Technology Resource Group, Inc.
Dr. Schedlbauer is a practicing scrum master, expert business analyst, experienced
software architect, and serves as an advisor for several industry conferences.
Additionally, Dr. Schedlbauer lectures at Northeastern University, Suffolk University,
Boston University Corporate Education, and the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
He maintains an active research agenda in agile methods, requirements analysis
and human performance modeling.
Dr. Schedlbauer holds Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.S. degrees in Computer Science from the
University of Massachusetts at Lowell. He is a member of the IIBA, Agile Alliance,
IEEE, ACM, and AIS.
