Discovery Prototyping for the Business Analyst
It is imperative for systems to meet their stated requirements to be useful. For the analyst, this poses
the significant challenge of eliciting those requirements and subsequently manage the requirements
catalog. Participants will learn how to successfully apply a variety of elicitation techniques to discover
stakeholder requirements and system features. Among the techniques discussed are interviewing,
document analysis, observation, prototyping, requirements workshops, surveys, and interface
analysis. Additionally, participants will learn how to manage requirements and collaborate with
stakeholders in establishing project scope and requirements priority.
